Toad Medicine in Atlanta

Date: October 1, 2022

Melanated Consciousness partners with trained BIPOC facilitators to host toad medicine ceremonies for BIPOC folx. Ceremonies take place in Atlanta, Georgia and Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. Inquire to learn more about upcoming retreats and ceremonies.

How is the toad medicine consumed?

All ceremonies with toad medicine are individual and usually last somewhere between 15 to 30 minutes. During this time the facilitators and/or assistants will be present with you. When it is your turn, you will sit on the mat. The facilitator will hold the pipe with the medicine in front of your mouth so you only have to inhale the vapor. Inhale slowly, long and deep. You may be encouraged to breath in more of the vapor. Try to keep the smoke inside your lungs for as long as possible. This will help the medicine to enter your bloodstream. The medicine will start to work within 10 seconds. Don’t fight it, just relax and let the feeling wash over you. During your ceremony, there will always be someone available to assist during your journey.

What can you expect to happen?

This is a beautiful and loving experience with one of the most powerful psychedelics on the planet. Every ceremony is different. Depending on the state of consciousness or accumulated intoxication, a participant can experience some of the following sensations during the ritual climax:

Meet the Facilitator

Kijana is a spiritual guide, psychic channel, master teacher, public speaker, and medicine woman. She began her spiritual journey as a child, never speaking of her gifts as she had assumed that everyone had the same experiences. Kijana has been communing with the spirit world, consciously, since she was a teenager.
In 2010, she left the corporate world and became a professional development coach, facilitating close to 100 proprietary workshops for government agencies, nonprofit and spiritual organizations.

In 2013, her life began to change as she was redirected to delve deeper into spirituality and hone her skills. She took time to focus on her healing to be a better guide to others.

In 2016, Kijana decided to experience entheogens. It was in her first Ayahuasca journey that she began channeling. A couple of months later, during her experience with psilocybin, her guides, the Council of 12 introduced themselves to her.

Kijana was reignited as a medicine woman in 2017. She is a healing conduit for several sacred medicines, a kambo/sapo practitioner as well as a channel of many beings, with her primary guides being the Council of 12. Safety, honor, and healing are her priority at all times.

She hosts a variety of events, retreats, and private sessions for those seeking healing. She can be reached at Kijana Unplugged. Get to know her better by watching her YouTube channel.
