Psilocybin.
Psilocybin mushrooms are fungi that contain the psychoactive compound psilocybin, a naturally occurring psychedelic compound capable of producing powerful hallucinations and mystical-type experiences, along with other effects. Psilocybin is more commonly known as “magic mushrooms” or “shrooms.”
Psilocybin mushrooms are more than just a drug and sacrament, however. They’ve been used in therapeutic settings to treat a variety of ailments and disorders including cluster headaches, obsessive-compulsive disorders, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and addiction, and a recent resurgence in research into psilocybin’s therapeutic effects is showing promising results.
Many factors contribute to the psilocybin experience, including dose, mindset, setting, and your body’s personal chemistry. With that in mind, each individual journey will be unique to the person, time, and place, and there’s no way to predict exactly what will happen. But understanding the common experiences and effects of psilocybin will help you prepare for your journey.

“This video is me basically sharing a story time about my first time using shrooms aka magic mushrooms. My experience with shrooms was phenomenally amazing. Just another experience that distanced me further away from this “world” capitalism, religion, “science” the government. All of these things in one way or another look down on natural “drugs” like shrooms or weed (technically not drugs). Both things I’ve tried and both things have given me more answers and a greater sense of fulfillment than any of the things I listed a few sentences ago. I honestly can’t believe we live in a world where alcohol which is literally poison and messes up your insides and your basic senses and sugar (which is 8x more addictive than opioid drugs like cocaine) is legal YET weed and shrooms... 2 things that grow effortless in nature. Not addictive. Not poisonous. Impossible to overdose on... I don’t get it... anyways my experience with both have been nothing but positive and life changing. Mind you I still don’t smoke.” —Nagad

“Microdosing is taking 10 to 25% of a dose so that you can get some cognitive benefits. What I started noticing when I microdose is something extremely phenomenal. The colors become more intense when you microdose. I focus better when I do it. It's something that you shouldn't do all the time because you gain tolerance very fast. You'll have more intense focus. When you do work, it feels as though you're in Adderall. You’d think it would be the opposite since it's a psychedelic. You're doing it at such a low level that you don't lose yourself. Your sense of self is still attached. When you take psychedelics in small doses, you're able to experience your inner state clearly. It's like you keep looking inside yourself and you're able to understand your experience better. It’s like you have a microscope to your experience. Your ego isn't as strong when you microdose. You're able to observe your emotions at a deeper level. You become vulnerable in terms of emotion. You cry more. You have more propensity to cry not out of pain, but out of joy. You may even cry because the emotion requires you to cry. Maybe you wouldn't have cried because you had an ego of not crying. You cry more because you allow yourself to experience whatever it is you're trying to avoid. You become more transparent and more vulnerable to yourself. That enables you to become more friendly towards yourself. You express your emotions better. You're more honest. You feel your emotions at a more accurate level.“ —TTDC
