San Pedro.

San Pedro has been an important element to the spiritual ceremonies of various indigenous cultures for thousands of years. In the context of these ceremonies, the San Pedro experience is known for being empathogenic and potentially life-changing, promoting radical introspection, healing, and a sense of wonder and awe.

San Pedro is a potent psychedelic, and a San Pedro ceremony can be intense and powerful, in both positive and negative ways. Though everyone will undergo a unique and individual experience, there are some general things you can expect. Many people are surprised at how different San Pedro (and mescaline, in general) is from other psychedelics they’ve tried. San Pedro can leave you feeling relaxed and in control, for instance, even if you’re tripping heavily.

All of this often culminates in a clear and connected thought, self-realization, empathy, and euphoria. However, “bad trips” and dysphoric symptoms may be more common among people who don’t pay attention to set and setting and/or have histories of mental illness.

In this video, Kristen Noelle shares what it's like to do psychedelics with her parents. “This was an interesting plant medicine journey because it has been a wild dream of mine to have my parents do San Pedro with me and my fiance. If you have never done a Wachuma/San Pedro ceremony with the plant medicine cactus than watch this video because I break down all the limitations and limiting beliefs that one may have around psychedelics for healing. Especially when you have long ancestral generational healing that needs to be done with psychedelics. If you are feeling like you are interested in going to a San Pedro ceremony this video is for you. “ —Kristen Noelle

“The Cactus San Pedro is a powerful medicine for deep transformation. Aka Huachuma, if you're ready to expand your mind, beliefs, and consciousness, then this video is for you! My name is Trinity de Guzman and I've been sitting with the medicines of Ayahuasca and the Cactus San Pedro - aka Huachuma - since March of 2013 and since then have grown more than words can even begin to describe... I've never experienced anything that's impacted my life so deeply, so quickly, so I pour so much love, heart & soul into sharing these medicine with the world. I truly believe that the Cactus San Pedro - Huachuma - and more importantly, Ayahuasca is coming into the 'modern' world just like yoga & meditation have, to bring us back to our Truth, remind us of Who We Really Are, and help us remember our True Power. To bring us back to our Divine Essential Truth. No words can ever fully describe this to you, or tell you Who You Really Are, it's something that can only be experienced for itself. Now, instead of 10 years with meditation, to maybe experience what it means to come back to your Truth as Infinite Potential Source Energy with no limits... Sitting with Ayahuasca, the Cactus San Pedro, healing, and this path of coming back to Your Highest Truth, isn't easy, and I really believe these medicine are only for the people who are serious about their inner work. Who are ready. It's not a 'drug' or something you do 'just to try it'. Check in with yourself. Only if your intention is to do REAL healing, and you're truly ready to let go of the things that have been keeping you small, is Ayahuasca or the Cactus San Pedro, aka Huachuma, for you. You are your own Master, your own Guru, the Divine Manifest, and only you can know what is best for you. My only advice is to listen to your heart, and trust it. Follow that. No matter what. That's the ONLY path to living the greatest life you can live, and experiencing all that you've ever wanted. Thank you so much for watching this video, and for feeling the call to San Pedro, Huachuma or Ayahuasca. I'm so grateful to be able to share with you and to be able to help spread these incredible medicines with the world. This truly is The Great Awakening, and we are waking up so deeply to our Divine Nature and Truth. It's happening, and by simply being on the path that you are on, you are one of the leaders to help bring this shift to the world. I know it can be hard at times... Breathe. Be kind during these times. Stay present and in the heart. And most importantly, love. That's the only way we'll make it out of this... And to paradise on earth we return. ❤” —Ehani

“Sharing some highlights from the beautiful ceremony I got to experience about a month ago. It was an amazing ceremony and I would recommend everyone to try it out if you ever get the chance. San pedro is very mild and subtle so its a great option for everyone and will help switch your perspective on any so called issue you have in your life. Negative thoughts will fade away and it will allow you to think positively about life and all your circumstances.” —Monica Iruke
